There are so many different options and choices we have to make today when trying to find hygiene products that don’t contain neurotoxins, chemicals and impurities. I’ve spent many years experimenting with lots of different products and have found some products that are natural and don’t contain any harmful ingredients.
Once I became a health coach and began to understand the body on a cellular level, I started paying more attention to the labels and ingredients used in products, and I was astonished on how many harmful ingredients were in some of them.
I found that many of the products on the shelves contain lots of chemicals and ingredients that can be harmful to our body. What you put on your skin, in your mouth and in your hair is absorbed through your skin and can be damaging to your health over time.
I want to share 3 items that I use daily that don’t contain harmful ingredients.
My top 3 Natural Hygiene products:
Coconut oil- Coconut oil is an incredible oil and can be used for many different things. You can use it to condition your hair and to stimulate hair growth, It’s a good fat, so you can eat it as It contains MCT’s (Medium Chain Triglycerides) which is said to be beneficial for energy, because the body burns the fat as fuel. You can also apply it to your skin to condition and deliver nutrients, and you can cook with it. Always look for organic extra virgin coconut oil and RAW if you can find it.
Dr.bronner’s soap- I discovered this soap a few years ago and itsall natural and organic. It is 100% vegetarian, super mild and has outstanding water softening & cleansing powers. It does not cut dirt, but dissolves it. It is the mildest, most pleasant soap I have used.
Tom’s fluoride free toothpaste– This my favorite toothpaste. There are NO artificial colors, flavors, fragrance, or preservatives and there is NO animal testing or animal ingredients. I know some of you may have noticed fluoride free and may be asking yourself, why fluoride free? I am not a medical doctor and I am not giving medical advise here. I am offering information that I’ve researched and found that we don’t need more fluoride. We get plenty of fluoride from our diets and some of the water we drink is filled with fluoride. Too much fluoride can be extremely harmful. Don’t take my word for it, do a little research on fluoride and how much we need on a daily basis and then look up fruits, vegetables and a lot of our water and you will see what I mean. A lot of our foods contain traces of fluoride. In the end, it’s a personal choice we have to make whether to use extra fluoride or not.
